The Axims can take either the Type 1 or Type 2 CF cards so that card should fit. You just need to make sure it is definitely compatible with your device. Take a look at this Storage Card compatibility thread:

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/stora...lity-list.html

Or search the forums for this particular card. Also make sure you are getting a regular CF card and not a Microdrive (unlikely, but check with the seller on this one).

The other thing to consider is the flood of fake cards on Ebay. It's not only the sellers with the poor feedback that sell fakes; many "legitimate" sellers also carry them but are not found out until after the feedback is left. If you can get your cards locally for just a little more, it might be worth considering. Buyer beware.

Yes, i wouldnt buy cards from ebay. You may just end up getting a piece of plastic and not a real card. Other online vendors that only sell new items are better to buy through.

well this seller claims to be legit take a look at this , he clearly shows about selling a fake card, so i dont think this seller is cheating plus they offer for a exchange anything if product is defective 16GB 16 G CF COMPACH FLASH MEMORY CARD HP iPAQ hx4700 - (item 140139760515 end time Jul-25-07 16:08:48 PDT)

If you purchase through a reputable online vendor, it is just as safe as purchasing via Paypal (if not even more so since the vendor wants to ensure customer satisfaction). Remember Paypal is a business too; they are not necessarily on your side. Besides, you need to link your Paypal account with either your credit card or bank account (even more unsafe), so I don't really see much of a difference if you are concerned about giving out secure info.

I'm not saying all online vendors are honest and legit; stick with the larger companies (e.g., Newegg, etc.) and do some research yourself using sites such as resellerratings.com. Also check out the Storage Card and Hardware Deals forums here for reports from other members. No one can guarantee that your transaction will be trouble-free, but you should be aware that the odds of getting a genuine memory card on Ebay are pretty low.

I agree. I have gotten burned buying memory on ebay and will not do it anymore.

I have, however, found some amazing deals on memory on Amazon.com. You might want to check that out.

I've compared eBay prices with on-line stores, the bidding frenzy at eBay for cards seems to usually over price them. I get mine at NewEgg.com and get a great price and quality brands.
