I saw the USB charger thread via the search function on the forum...

This looks and seems a lot better, can anyone comment on this? in 9 days im going on some 12 hour plane rides...

Read this article about airline power. The Axim is a power hog, and can demand as much as 2 amps of power (depleted battery, high speed cpu, VGA full brightness screen, wireless on). So 1st, make sure your seat has power, then that the adapter can take whatever power your seat provides.

the above plugs into the headphone jack (Which is available on all seats, or atleast all the ones I've been on) is the headphone jack not enough for the x51v?

Shouldn't be a problem as a handheld is a very small load compared to a laptop.
