4 in 1 omni pen fits in x51v?

Hey all,

Was just wondering if this pen FITS in the compartment for the stylus?

OmniPen Pro - 4 in 1 Pen LED Stylus - Laser Pointer

I doubt it, but the description says.

"and a Dell Axim X51v stylus into one compact Dell Axim X51v."

the "INTO" part made me wonder :P

I know with the additional uses... and from the picture it looks bulky... but here's hoping!

all in all, does this 4 in 1 fit into the stylus compartment on the top right of the x51v?

I would venture to say probably not.

Where does it say that blurb about the Axim?

Anyway, I agree with mitkw; it probably won't fit.

I have something similiar to that, but its got a Rockwell logo on it, minus the laser pointer. It is a full sized pen.

I use the Omnipen Pro, it's great. But it is a full-size pen, about 6" long.

For some of us, the typical stylus is too small for effective hand-writing. The original Casio had a stylus that was almost large enough to be usable. However, as subsequent devices have appeared, the stylii have gotten smaller and smaller, too small to write more than a few words at a time.

The OmniPen Pro allows me to write smoothly and easily on my Axim and my wife's Fujitsu, and has replaced all other pens for me for normal paper writing as well. I don't use the laser pointer much, but every now and then the flashlight has been a blessing. So I really like it.

But the pen sure won't fit in an Axim stylus slot.

I have a similar pen. I does _not_ fit. Think about the size of the batteries for the laser and flashlight.

Nope, sorry.

I have a bunch of these pens ... and they are full size pens. I can't stand the oem stylus apart from emergencies.

I have a similiar pen without Boxwave logo on it and it is a regular size pen. I have bought boxwave screen protectors but have not bought this particular stylus/pen from them. I have found similiar pens on internet for about half the price. I also only us the OEM stylus has a backup, I too like holding a more firm stylus.

What? It doesn't fit? Try a bigger hammer!

If the hammer doesn't work then one must use the official Axim shoehorn :exc::)
