Setting up a Bluetooth Keyboard
Hey guys, I got a question. I got a bluetooth wireless keyboard, mouse and hub combo made by rocketfish, which I think is a Best Buy brand. Anywho, I can sync between my computer and my X50 Mid just fine, but I am having a hard time getting the keyboard to work on my PDA. The keyboard is recognized by the X50, and it detects it and says it has an input service. I am just not completly sure how to make it so I can use it as the input device. I go to input in the system menu, and it's not listed as an option. I sure hope the keyboard doesn't need drivers, and I wouldn't think it does, because it recognizes everything in the bluetooth menu; it says Rocketfish Bluetooth Keyboard. It connects just fine. How do I enable it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry I don't have much help, but I know that often special drivers are needed to make BT keyboards and pointing devices work with a ppc. If you are using the standard microsoft bt stack you might try the widcomm stack if you have an x51v or the hp bt update for the x50. it's really all I have to offer.

Try look at this: Teksoft - Future Teknology

I haven't tried it yet; but I think it looks promising.

I tried it, doesn't seem to work unless you first have a BT mouse, I only have the rocketfish BT keyboard that I want to use, it's paired up nicely with the X51v, but Bluemouse 1.2, doesn't explicitly give me a choice to use the bt keyboard, clicking connect in bm, just says can't fine the mouse :-(

I'm guessing one of the other posters was correct in the need for a generic bluetooth keyboard driver.

If I get a chance to pickup a BT mouse this week, I'll see if the keyboard then works too.
