Hotsync cable + home adaptor?

I've been searching on line for about an hour and so far this is all I've come up with: Hotsync cable and home adapter.

Are there any other places with better prices or a better product? Are these safe? The last thing I want to do is fry my beloved x51v! I don't need a car adapter, just the home adapter and Hotsync cable.

Thanks!!

I would pay the extra and get a Belkin 3-in-1 Travel Kit - USB cable with AC & car charge adapters.:approve:

Thanks for the link. It says for x50 with no mention of x51v. I did search online and they all say for x50. Is the x50 adapter the same as the x51v?

Another question

They appear to be the same for the x50 and x51v, BUT from all of the photos online of this kit, the cord seems to be only a foot long. How long is it really? There is NO mention of how long it is in any of the specs anywhere. I'm ready to get one, but only if it has a cord around 4' - 5' long.

Anyone?

Anyone have one of these and can tell me the length of the cord?

Thanks

I just love it when I start a thread and have 5 posts to every one post. Nothing quite like having a conversation with oneself.

So, I guess nobody even has the Belkin 3-in-1 Travel Kit? All I need to know is how long the cable is from someone who actually has this kit in their possession.

I have it. It used to be identical to the one Dell sells on their website. Anyway, the USB cable, which plugs into either the auto adapter or the AC adapter (or into the USB port, obviously), is about 1.5 meters in length.

Thank you VERY MUCH for the reply! That is what I was needing to know, since in the photo it looks like the cable is only about 18 inches long. I believe I will be getting one of these!

If after you get it you find that Belkin has changed it from the model I have, do PM me to let me know. I would not want to be passing along erroneous information.

I got mine in early November of 2005 directly from Belkin.
