help with removing a screen protector!!

Hello, I had installed a "Hip Street" screen protector on my x51 about 6 months ago. I find it has become quite scratched now and want to reinstall another one. problem is the screen protector was sticky abit and wont just lift off. I don't want to wreck my x51. is there a trick to removing protectors??

Get some scotch tape and put it on one corner of the screen protector, then lift up.

You can also use a wood toothpick to help you with that in the very corner. The trick to the tape is to get it stuck on real well then pull it at an angle to just get it started then use the tooth pick to get under it so you can then pull it with you fingers.

My screen protectors stay on with static not a sticky substance. They come off very easy and reapply just as easy.

Anybody with recommendations on a good brand of screen protector? Which is best the permanent ones or the ones that you change frequently?
