I have a perfectly good x50v, but its USB sync cable and 15-pin power adapter are in bad shape. I can't find them on Dell's site. Searching the web, I found a couple, but they were not on mainstream websites.

Anyone have suggestions for a good source?

I buy most of my Axim stuff off eBay. There are a couple of power sellers that advertise continually cables, batteries and the like. I have had good success using this outlet.

I've had good luck ordering from Meritline. The retractable usb cables for the axim do not sync and charge simultaneously, but they have a regular cable that does work. I don't know if they have just the dongle piece for the x50v, but the other cables and accessories that I have purchased from them have been just fine and I have had no problems with them as a merchant.
