Why I _don't_ like my Sena case
Based on excitement-drippin' reviews of Sena cases, I bought one for my X51v with extended battery.
The good part is, it's well made, it fits in cradle so it doesn't have to be taken out for charging, it's slim, and it's a nice tan color.
Now, the bad. The front cover is fairly soft, unlike the cover on the Krusell case that I had on my old iPaq. When I have a SD card in the slot, any slight bump or pressure makes it touch the screen and, if the unit is not yet in sleep mode, start something up - e.g. open an appointment if it happens to be in Today screen.
This is a major, major hassle. I don't use belt clips. I carry Ax in my pocket. I had to install MortSaver and map it to the record button and now I have to remember to press it whenever I am about to put the device in my pocket, and then I have to press it again to exit screensaver mode. (Forget about using the Lock button, at least on my unit it takes quite an effort to slide, esp. if I am only using one hand).
This was not a problem until I started carrying a SD card in the special "pocket" on the flip.
I am not sure how much protection it offers from anything other than scratches. I broke the screen on my old iPaq by walking into a steel guard - and the Krussel case had much stronger, harder to bend flip.
Anyway, this is just the word of caution for those who think of buying this case. Sena is one of the more expensive brands, they should've done better.
