Hmm... You said the X51v sees the JabraBT500 so if you go into the BT manager on the X51v and look under devices it's listed there - right? What do you see if you tap and hold on the listing? You should see 'set as wireless stereo'. You'll want to select that.
Does that help at all? As long as I've had my PPCs I've just started learning my way around BT so I may be missing something here, but at least it's something to start with.
