I have been using the magnesium case for a while, but I am tired of putting this in and out, when it is on the craddle. Are there any good quality leather cases that will stay on the x51v when on the craddle ??

hey thank you! I looked at some Sana cases - I am happy that they fit in the craddle.

Any other recommendation out there ? ( ha! I am not being picky ), just wanted to know if Sana is the only one solution for quality leather case that would fit the 51v and still be able to put it on the craddle ?

I love the looks of Piel Frama or Covertec, but I don't know if they fit the craddle ? Any ideas ?

The Piel Frama will not fit in cradle..I'm not sure about the covertec.


The Piel Frama is a beautiful case ( I have two!) so if you really liked that you could invest in a sync cord :)

wdement - do you have a place where you would recommend getting one of the Piel Frama ? They are beautiful indeed..

I could really put it in when taking off the sync craddle. The magnesium case is a pain, because of a very tight fit. I assume this would be much easier to handle.

I have a Piel Frama for my axim and my ipaq. They ipaq was quite snug when I got it, but it loosens up with time. A good friend told me to give it a few days..he was right (thanks jogga :))

It is quite beautiful and offers plenty of protection.

I only sync once a day, so taking it out of the case isn't a big deal.

I just filed down each side of a Dell sync adapter a little bit and it fits just fine without removing the PDA from the hard case. I don't use the cradle.

Add me to the list of those that have bought and been happy with the Sena case. It does fit in the cradle while still in the case! I also like the magnetic closure system of the Sena.

Before Sena, I bought soft (leather) Vaja cases for my previous 3 PDAs. The leather was soooooo nice--the nicest leather products I've ever owned. The prices are pretty steep, though, about $100 unless you find one for sell on eBay.

Well, I've been using the magnesium case for 6 to 8 months and absolutely love it (tried lots of others). Because my Axim wouldn't fit in the cradle while in it's case, I bought a sync cable and don't even use the cradle anymore. That way I still have the best (IMO) case for protecting my x51v while still being able to sync without removing it from the case. Just another option you might want to consider. :)
