storage cards can be found here:

Check NEWEGG for bargains.

One note - cheap does not = good on storage cards (I found that out)

x50's are picky about writing data to SD cards so check the link in the prior post first!

I have many SD/CF cards for my Axim, brand name varies, but all work. Just bought another 2GB SD card from Wal-Mart yesterday, cost me less than $15 out the door.

These have worked for me in the past. I don't think they've made any changes to them. Didn't buy them from Newegg, but can't remember where I found them for less. They're about $60.
Newegg.com - Transcend 4GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash Card Model TS4GSD150 - Retail

Can probably find them much cheaper with a search.

Correction-MUCH CHEAPER HERE! How about $33.
Transcend 4GB SD (NON-HC) Secure Digital

Regardless of which one you end up choosing, avoid getting it from Ebay, which is known for fake and defective cards. Even excellent feedback does not guarantee a good card since 1) many people leave feedback before the card fails; 2) sellers will often replace a fake card so that negative feedback is not left.

Just get whatever you can get for cheap, don't waste more than $25 on a storage media, I made that mistake way too many times, heck, I paid $169 or something like that for my 512 MB CF card, what a huge mistake that was, I can't believe it. There are many people who did similar mistake at the time.. so nowadays you shouldn't pay too much because within few months it will be cheaper. I would suggest 2GB SD card.

Agree with you on the Ebay part. I have ordered Sd and CF cards on NewEgg.com with no issues in them. First ordered a 4gb SD and a 8gb CF from them. Just ordered a 16gb SDHC and a 16gb CF from them, due here on Monday. Should allow me to load over 50 movies and all of my music to carry with me on my X51V.

Hope that's a typo on the SDHC card, as you may not be able to access it all even with the newer driver at this time. The CF card is fine however.

I bought a $30 Connect3D 4 gig SD cards from woot. anytime my x50v writes to it within a day all data is toast. Now I keep all my movies on it and have the write protection turned on- the x50v reads from it just fine, it just can't write to it. All the rest of my cards work great.

Not so, the ROM I have installed on my X51V (WM6 A03) will fully access all of a SDHC card. This has been tested by others and confirmed by them that the full amount of space on the SDHC card will be displayed and accessible when inserted into the X51V model.

You have tested it with a 16GB SDHC card? Haven't heard of success beyond the 4GB level which seems to be the upper limit. Please advise if you have actually written, then read from the entire space of the card as all the research I've done says that cards larger than 4gb show that the memory is there, but can't read or write to this 4GB of the card.

The Adata 16gb SDHC card I have in my X51V has at this time a bit more than 5.9gb of storeage used of the total 16gb. I have written files to the card, read from the card. Put pdfs, excel, word, avis, jpgs, ebooks and non Pocket PC files onto the card. I have read all of these files from their specific applications. I have made a total backup of my unit and another backup of just its data files. I have restored both of these backups to another totally different X51V that I have as a spare unit. I now have 16gb CF and 16gb SDHC cards in my unit giving me a total of 32gb of usable space. Both Total Commander and File Explorer give me the same information when looking at the SDHCs properties.
