I can't stand being forced to use the mini audio plug on top of my x51v to extract audio... Has anyone found a slick alternative?

Here's one that I was sure I could find but haven't had luck... I'd like to find a bluetooth accessory that pipes stereo audio to a external box with a mini plug on it. Essentially, stereo BT headphones with a mini plug instead of a headset.. then I could plug my conventional headphones into it or connect it directly to my stereo... It seems so obvious to me!?!

It just drive me crazy being tethered to my Axim. Or, when I have it in my car for GPS... Even if there was a creative way to extract audio out of the bottom connector. (since audio isn't on that connector )

Have a look at Jabra, they make several bt headsets that allow you to plug your own in.
Many other brands do too.

a little thingy that plugs into any 3.5mm audio jack- pairs up with my Razr, and my bluetooth stereo headset- works great

I have the 3030 and use it with my Tilt. It is awesome (as long as WIFI is turned off). Not used it on my 51v though. Do I need a A2DP driver or something for my Axim for this to work?

I too got tired of plugging the Axim into the car stereo. I figured I'd end up damaging the Axim at some point. So I bought an inexpensive IOGear bluetooth headset and hacked it so that instead of using the headphones I connected an inline stereo jack. Plugged that into the stereo in my truck and now I play the audio from the x50v through the stereo via bluetooth. I got the idea from this link GRYNX » Bluetooth stereo in the car It has worked great.
