I've made the following assumptions: you have the low end X50 (that only has BT, no built-in WiFi); you not only downloaded the drivers, but also installed them (properly). The 'properly' part usually means running an executable file on the PC while there is an ActiveSync connection with the PPC. Generally, you should not have the CF card inserted before you install the drivers and you should also perform a soft reset on the device after the driver installation and before inserting the card.
Now, if these assumptions are correct, what happens when you insert the card? I cannot tell from images of the device but many WiFi cards have LEDs that light/flash. If the Truemobile card has these, do they light up at all?
