Is there an external battery charger that will charge the x50v battery?

For some reason my Axim hard resets immediately when I remove the battery. I think if I were to quickly put in a fully charged battery, it might work, but a discharged battery can't charge in the Axim without a precharge.

Probably the backup battery isn't working, but how does one replace that?

If you have the OEM desktop stand for the X50, you ought to be able to charge a battery in the slot behind the port the supports the Axim. If, however, your backup battery is bad I don't think that you can swap main batteries quick enough to prevent memory loss.

I am not sure it works on the X50 but I beleive it will. Give it a try!

The x51v has a capacitor type of backup while the x50v has an actual battery. :o
