my friend has an Dell Axim X50 PDA, and is after a unit that:

- is 12v powered
- has BT and can connect to his Dell via BT.
- has a cradle he can sit his X50 in

Any suggestions? I think he already has some maps.

I don't believe anyone makes a cradle with built-in BT. You can go to BuyGPSnow.com or Semsons and look at their cradles. But, your friend will have to buy the BT receiver separately. Some of the cradles do have an outlet to keep the BT charged.
