stereo bluetooth on Dell Axim x51v

sorry if someone else has already posted an answer to this stereo bluetooth question, my applogies.

this site mentions quite a few involved procedures or installing third party software to my pda to get stereo bluetooth to work. not infavour of either.

my question is: i think i found an easy way, but had to adjust one registry setting, does anybody know if this registry setting will damage my pda?

my easy way was pair a dell bh200 stereo bluetooth headset to the pda do the following registry adj:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\BLUETOOTH\SE RVICES\0000110B-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB\

The above location should bring you to an "ab" icon with the value "Wireless Stereo". there's a second icon named "bthutil.dll". change it's DWORD Data value to "1" (one)

***the audio works fine (not choppy), but will this adj impact my pda any other unforseen way?

The worst that would happen is you screw up the OS to the point that you need to do a hard reset.
Changing anything in the registry always carries some element of risk if it is not done right.
Changing one entry for BT will not really damage you unit.

Back up your device before screwing around with reg settings. You'll never know unless you try.
