Aximsitex50icon Replacement Stylus

Oops, lost my stylus. eBay?

Edit: Maybe I should expand on that. I'd like a good quality one that fits into my x51v well, not just a cheap one that fits poorly or not at all.

Joel, I haven't checked lately, but I think Dell may still stock accessories like this! They used to sell a replacement package that included three stylii!

Yes, I bought it from Dell. They overprice everything. Last time I bought that 3 stylus pack, it costed $20! For three pieces of steel and plastic...

3 Pak Stylus for DELL AXIM X51v / X51 / X50v / X50 PDA - eBay (item 370132909646 end time Jan-17-09 17:21:46 PST)

I'm with johnhu on that, I wanted the replacement rubber bumper pads for a couple of my axims, they wanted $20 for two little rubber pieces.

It's like restoring a car John, original parts always cost a little bit more

Hehe. now I barely even use my stylus. Most of my programs are finger-friendly. :)

Guess that would mean you do not use much of the office products that are on your unit. I use them almost on an hourly basis as my Pocket PC first, then the PDA functions and then my multi media functions and lastely all of the other pazaz applications. :approve:

M$ Office is absolutely horrible on Pocket PCs.

I use it for general everyday uses and multimedia mainly.

I love the stylus, I haven't really found any of the finger friendly apps to be truly finger friendly. Cept maybe SPB Keyboard 4

I think that of all the applications I use only SBSH's iLauncher can be described, by me of course, as truly finger friendly. Virtually every other one needs the accuracy of a stylus because I still use the generic keyboard. But then I also don't play any games on mine! :)

make your own. I used one from my old Trio and cut the top to fit. Maybe even whittle one from scratch of high quality wood. wouldn't it be cool to have one out of pure oak, mahogany, or ebony. how about one made of carbon fiber if you have the experience. epoxy is your friend.

I simply must beg to differ with you. I use excel and word consistently on my X51V as I go through my day, updating existing files as well as creating new ones to tracking and trapping information I desire to keep. Using these two applications along with the 4 existing PDA applications that come with WM6 truely makes my X51V a 'Pocket PC'. :approve:
