I thought the stand was able to attach to the keyboard?
I think you might need to get a new one. You can either post a WTB (Want to Buy) at Aximsite's Classified section or you can buy it online: Google Search.

Lastly, no, an iPaq will not fix on a Dell Keyboard.

If it's a BT Keyboard, with the right drivers and profiles it should work.

But Box, the stand's purpose is to hold the PDA. If it's broken, you would have to lay the PDA at some angle in order to see. That would be a hassle...

You may have missed the post John, where the OP said he would fix the stand, therefore asking if the Keyboard would connect to an Ipaq not whether it would hold it up.

Do you throw away an expensive piece of equipment because of a minor fault. Do you throw your TV away because the legs on the table it stands on are being eaten by voracious termites. Perhaps the OP has a favourite brick that he likes to carry around to support his devices, who knows, I do know I wouldn't stop using my BT keyboard because the stand was broken, come to think of it I don't remember when I last used the stand, I usually just prop it somewhere convenient, I've never liked having the Ax on the keyboard itself.

Hehe, I was scrolling too fast. Yes, in that case, the stand would still hold whatever PDA he/she has and Bluetooth would work.

A couple of years ago the stand on mine broke. Since replacement by Dell was no longer an option I contacted ThinkOutside directly and they provided 2 or 3 replacement stands at no charge - Just a thought.

I think I would have your son throw the axim and the ipaq down the stairs and get a netbook. (Just kidding).
