The original battery cover

Hi,
First post as I only bought my Dell x51 a couple of weeks ago. It came with an extended battery and cover and a sync lead which I'm using at present to charge the battery. I bought a battery and cover from ebay thinking it was the original cover and got the extended one again (my own fault for not paying enough attention). The extended battery cover wont fit in the cradle nor the leather pouch I bought at the same time as the x51. I'm using a slip in type pouch at present.

Where in the UK can I get an original cover for my x51.

Thanks a lot. .

When I have seen them for sale they were almost the same price as getting a new standard battery replacement which came with a battery cover!

Look near the bottom of the web page for the 1100 mAH selection for $27.00.

If it won't fit in the cradle the the extended battery must be 3,300 mAh.

If you go the 7dayshop.com (in Guernsey) you can buy a 2,200 mAh battery with another back which WILL fit in the cradle. They only cost about £7.00. I have bought two and they are first rate batteries.

As far as the case is concerned, you will have to get a new one whichever extended battery you use. If you go for the 2,200 mAh battery I strongly recommend the Sena case from cases.com. They make one which will take the 2,200 mAh battery and Sena is the only case which lets you put your Axim into its cradle without taking it out of the case - a very great convenience.

Cases.com are in the USA but they ship to the UK by air mail at a very reasonable cost. They used to give a discount to Aximsite members.

Thanks for the replies

The link rlarson_mn gave wasn't fruitful as I couldn't see an original case there. davrol, I went to cases.com and found what I was looking for.

Many thanks.

Actually, cases.com and aximcases.com are the same ;) but it looks like the regular battery (with cover) is out of stock right now.

And the members coupon code still works:
