Compac Flash 8GB or 16GB to x50v
I currently use 4GD compact flash in my Axim x50v. This is SanDisk Ultra II.
Now, I need “more power” and wish to buy 8 or 16GB compact flash.
I contacted Dell Support and they give me a negative answer to my question, so somebody here uses 8GB in Axim x50v today? Thanks in advance.

Yes, a 16 Gig CF card will work in an X50v.

I just picked up a 16gb Kingston Elite Pro from newegg for 30 shipped. Great storage, recommend not purchasing on ebay, tons of fakes on there..What operating system are you using?

Just gonna recommend newegg. Sandisk cards seem to be priced quite a bit higher than the competition. Kingston and Transcend are two great brands for lower priced, high quality flash memory.

I currently am using a 16G CF card. I am wondering if my Dell Axim X50v with WM2003SE will see a 32G CF card. Has anyone tried this on their Dell X50v? Thanks

I borrowed a 32GB CF card from a friend. It was a Sandisk Extreme III CF card, I think.
Works perfectly on an x50v with WM2003SE (Originally), x50v with WM6.1 (Now), and x51v with WM6.1.

Hehe,
compared to my friend's Sandisk Extreme III, which is $181 on Newegg, that's a great deal. Although, Sandisk's Extreme Series are designed for SLR cameras.
