Hi my axim x51v decided to not recognise my CF card today but worked fine before and i have not found a solution anywhere tht has helped. The CF card works fine in my PC and camera, i have formatted it several times to many formats and is still unrecognised by the axim. Any suggestions out there ???
Also, ive tried another CF card (48 MB SanDisk) which is recognised in my axim for some reason.

Details:
Axim X51v
WM6 Football
Datawrite 8 GB CF

Double posting doesn't get your question answered any faster, in fact it annoys people and is contrary to the rules of the site.

It may be a simple and seamingly stupid question, but, have you done a soft reset?

There are 48MB CF Cards out there?

I know the CF card has to be formatted FAT32. Check the CF slot and maybe clean it if there is dirt/dust in there. Maybe the card has failed?

Yh ive tried formatting to fat32 and even NTFS, which still didnt work. My card cant be damaged as it works perfectly in my pc and camera. Ive also checked the pins on the axims cf slot there all straight. Oh and yes ive soft reseted, hard reseted, reinstalled wm6. My card has not failed because it works on my camera and pc.

Oh n sorry 4 double posting, i cudnt find my first post as i am new to this forum so i 4t i did not post correctly lol.

I'm not certain, but I seem to remember there may have been some issues with Footballs ROM and CF cards.
You may want to try flashing a different ROM.
