wow i didnt know about the WM6 update brings SDHC support?

if you are right, then i dont need to spend extra cash for a CF card as CF cards are more expensive compared to similar capacity SDHC cards.!

Yes, WM6/WM6.1/WM6.5 brings about full SDHC read/write support for Axims. CF cards are not used much anymore compared to SDHC cards.

Are you sure about the wm6 sdhc support for X51 (not x51v)?

The available x51 WM6.1 ROMs all have a WM5 A12 Stock base. Meaning they are just UI/graphical improvement of Dell's stock WM5 A12 ROM. Therefore, they still do not have embedded SDHC support.

If a x51 WM6.1 ROM comes out with a WM6 or WM6.1 base, then it will have embedded SDHC support.

So, your best bet right now would be to use the SDHC driver.

I have been searching for a way to use SDHC on my x51v for about two years now. Three days ago, I just happened to stumble upon an SDHC driver/.cab file a couple days ago. I could not believe my eyes when I took my 16gb SDHC out of my camera and plugged it into my x51v that has wm5 with the original OS build, and I could see the full 16gbs!!! AMAZING!!! I got in my car and bought a 32gb SDHC for $69 at Fry's and I could see all 31gb's (some space is reserved for the system). I loaded up all my encoded AVI videos and mp3s on to it and I am able to see all 31gbs of files... amazing!

Where has this file been guys....??? :)

I would go with this file, I am very picky when it comes to risking a dead brick x51v, using this .cab file is the safest way to go.
