Will a 32GB Kingston CF Elite Pro 133X work ok on the x51v with win 6.1 pro, as the card is a CF Type one? I found it at Kingstonusbcf.com for $58.00. It is so much less than the other 32GB cards, that I was a little nervous about ordering it.

I have a 16GB Kingston CF. Exact same kind as yours, but only 16GB.

On your Axim, CF Type 1 is a little thinner than type 2. All it does is leave a space between the SD and CF. So just remember to remove the CF once in a while and blow some air into it to get rid of the dust.

Performace-wise, it works fine. I use it for storage purposes. To run programs, I suggest a faster SDHC card.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I've never used a CF card in it before. I will order the one for $58. I have a 1 GB SD card and it is full. So, you recommend using an SDHC for programs.................I thought that the Axim wouldn't run SDHC. I thought that they had to be just SD. I was given two new SDHC cards. One 4 GB, which I can't find at the moment, and one Kingston 8 GB SDHC. Will it work?????

Since you seem to know a lot about this. Can I move Magic Button to my Axim main memory? I loaded it onto my SD card, but it doesn't load automatically, and often shuts itself down. I was afraid of bogging the whole thing down.

If you are using WM6.1 (Either by Lenny, Makuu, or Football), SDHC is automatically supported. SDHC is preferred because few devices use CF cards (I don't have a device that uses it other than my Axim). Also, my personally belief is that SD runs faster, but I may be wrong.

Magic button for me also automatically crashes and sometimes doesn't start up. I believe it is a problem with the program itself. I have tried on main memory, SD, and CF. To move a program, uninstall and reinstall it. When prompted during re-installation, select SD card.

Thanks, I will try my 8gb SDHC card. When I went to order the Kingston 32gb CF card I found out why it was so much cheaper than the others------You had to buy a minimum of 32!!!!!!!
