Anyone know what makes the Travel Cradle different?
Does anyone know what the difference between the standard X50v Cradle and the ($15) Travel Sync Cable/Cradle is? There isn't any information on their website but I'm guessing that the cable just separates from the cradle to make it more portable. Which would make it a lot nicer to pack when I'm on the road.

the Travel Sync/cradle option is you get the standard cradle and a SEPARATE Sync Cable (not another cradle) ... the sync cable I think allows you to plug in the power supply as well...

Travel Sync cable
Will the travel sync cable allow you also charge the Axim? I read on an earlier thread that the charging would only happen when the PDA is in the off mode.
I need to use the PDA both at the office and at home. Trying to understand what all is needed to both power the Axim and transfer data in two different locations.

You can do this without another cradle. Just get a retractable sync&charge cable like the ones from Boxwave, PPCtech or Belkin. These are lightweight, fit in a pocket, and easy to use, but may not be available in an x50 version for a while.
I bought the Zip-Linq for my x30 since it works with the car & wall charger I already had with my cellphone USB charging kit. See here - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&sku=C250-3544 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&sku=C250-3532 Zip-linq says they'll have an x50 cable soon! Maybe sooner if everyone who wants one emails them - info@ziplinq.com
