Received WriteShield for X50v yesterday

Ordered WriteShield on Monday. FedEx delivered on Wednesday. Fast !

Might as well, I really don't leave the screen unprotected.

Yes. Fit the same way as the ones customized for X5. Just as usual, there are slight gaps around the edge. To make replacing screen protector easier. I tell ya, I don't know what to do without that white toothpick-looking thingy.

Mine are still in the box. Is there anything special that you need to do? Or do you just need to put it on from the pack to the screen.

Are there 2 different types of screen protectors from Write Shield? Which one did you get?
Can't use no more brains than you got!

Congratulations on the WriteShield. Good stuff.

What do you need to do? Find a clean room . Seriously, you'd never realize how dusty your home/office/etc is until you try to apply a screen protector. The bath room method works well for me. But this time I was too excited to walk upstair.

If you do get lint or dust under the screen protector, lift it up and use a tape to get rid of the dust.

**Bath Method**
Take advantage of the steamy bathroom after a hot shower, or just run the hot tap until the room is relatively moist. The theory is that the moisture would help control the flying dust. Myth? Don't know. It works for me

There is only one kind of WriteShield available for X50v, the C2. The two options for X50v are essentially the same kind of WriteShield but the Deluxe has some fancy stuff. The Standard is good enough, even though I did order the Deluxe.

Well I managed to screw both of the screen protectors up. Is there a secret to getting it on the screen so there are no round grey spots on the screen. Even after smoothing it out with a cloth I could never get it so it looked clear after putting the screen protector on.

Usually, a round grey spot is a speck of dust. Lift up the edge and try to remove the dust with some tape. Its very hard once you get dust on it, but its worth it.

I ordered two x50v's and BOTH came in this past week. LOVE THEM.

Ordered the Writeshields because of posts here and am VERY disappointed. They don't fit well and we can't get the bubbles out of them. I'm going to ask for a refund. They are not the worse screen protectors I've ever used, but close. PLUS, they were expensive. Anyone have any other suggestions?
thanks
