I am looking for a case for the Axim X50v that has the following specifications:

-Hardcover (aluminum, magnesium, etc.)....No leather please
-Vertically opens (preferably a lid with a hinge)
-Can sit on the USB sync cradle with case on (this is key for those of us who hate removing and replacing the handheld daily)

Does anyone know if such a case exists?

The InnoPocket Magnesium case is close, but it doesn't sit in the cradle.

I loved my old Handspring Visor Edge for it's combination of protection (encased in aluminum), ease of use (vertical lid with ability to sync/charge), and size/mobility (one of the most compact PDAs I have seen).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated :)

I would have liked it if you would have made two lists. One for the standard x50v and one for cases suiteble for use with the 2200mAh battery. Thanks.

Currently the Innopocket is the only flip opening metal case for the x50v

I just got the Bellagio Axim X50v Leather PDA Case. I put my Axim in several different times, and it appears that my touchscreen does not work. I checked the lock on the side and it was fine, but I could not get the touchscreen to work. Buttons worked fine. Anyone else have this problem. I think I am going to send back. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a case that will allow you to autosync without taking it off.

Yup, I have the 1900 and it is awesome. Does not fit the X5, but it fits the X50v perfect (tobadly does not work with extended battery)

One great thing about the 1900 is it is much smaller then some of their other huge cases hehehe

Does anyone know if Krusell makes a case for the X50V? The ad states "only fits X50". I really like the belt clip options that Krusell offers.

The last time I asked my local distributor for X50, he said that it's sold out. He only has X50V. So I guess they do.
