Hello...
I need a case for my X50v with the extended battery...
I have been looking at the Sena cases, and have an email from them stating that the black on black case will be in stock on the 9th...
I thought I would get some suggestions in case there is something out that is as nice as the Sena, and availble now (In case there is a Delay from Sena).

Number 1 priorty, is a GREAT belt clip. I ride a motorcycle, and do not always like using my saddlebags.
Number 2 - Black on black leather (Goes with everything)

I have been using the same black leather pouch for years... Plain and simple (From Franklin Covy (sp))... Belt slips through a loop on the back of the case, and CANNOT come off (WIth out my pants!)...

Any suggestions would be great...

Well... After spending 9 billion dollars (Or there abouts) on my Axim (And Microdrive, SD cards, software etc)... I thought I would dump the pouch look and go with one of those hot and sexy form fitting cases, that shows off it's curves

Okay... Looks like the black is in stock now for both Sena and Piel Frama.... Hmmmm... Which one??? The Sena seems the most popular... But it seems the Peil has the best reviews... I have choosen... I have paid... Ohhh' here's the confirmation.... Awsome... Theres my 15% discount (Thanks Aximsite). And the one I choose is... The one I got...Is? ....Is?.... S%$#!! Hi guys,

Great site btw. Anyway I'm looking for a case for my x50V with extended battery. I really love the innopocket magnesium case but it won't fit. I want preferbly a hard case, with on belt clip. Also most of the sites are US, so at risk of paying a cut to good old Gordon. Any suggestions welcomed.

Haven't seen a hard case with a clip. I've just got the Peil Frama extended case from Axisite - it was $58 delivered, whereas from Piel Frama direct it is 60 euro! I ordered Sunday, came today (Friday) so can't fault shipping (note: there are 2 options, I went for the cheaper). Didn't get charged import duty etc.

As cases go it is OK, not as tight as I thought it would be. I have literally had it 30 minutes so can't offer much of an opinion, other than it fits.

If you ordered a case form a UK company you'd not get it much faster!

A little correction, you got it form AximCases (not Aximsite), we are Aximsite sponsors but NOT the same company .

Well' I Ordered the Piel Frama from Aximcase on Thursday the 7th, and had it here by Monday the 11th... Even I can't complain about delivery time!!!

I ordered the solid black leather, w/ the extended battery fit, and I am not only impressed by the looks, but also by the quality... When you softly squeeze the cover or back, you can feel the padding, as well as how stiff it is underneath... And as is often mentioned by other people, the stitching is tight, and looks to be of very nice quality.

About the snap closure... Yes it takes getting use to, but it is much better then my last case with the velcro... Another nice thing about the wrap around closure... it completely closes off the bottom opening where the cable connects...

I had looked at the Sena case, but had two issues with it.
1) It would have been nice to be able to charge it in the case... But that was the least of my worries... I have never dropped my PPC by charging it... I had heard the Sena case was thin on the bottom, and could tell from the pictures that the corners were exposed... If you every saw my old Sony Clie... You would see that that was an issue... Once in a case, I want total protection!

2) Magnetic closure... Let me say that word again... MAGNETIC!... Say what you like... But I am the type of guy that wears a static strip when I work on a server. When I googled this fact about the magnetic closure, I had found a site where someone mentioned that they believe the magnet did not affect his Axim, but did affect his memory card, which is stored right by the... Everyone say it with me... "The Magnet"

A small note: Someone had asked on this site, how the fit was with the extended battery case, and did this make the top part of the case (In the back) loose enough to hold his 1100 battery... No you cannot fit the battery back there. The case, in a word, is a perfect fit, and gives no room in the back...

Just wanted to pass on my 2 cents, since you guys helped me get my first Pocketpc, (I'll miss ya Clie )....

Given what you have seen, what happens when you use the PF case with the 1100mAh battery - would it feel unsnug or bad. I would say that 95% of my usage is with the normal battery.
