yup, the rhino skin will not work

i am assuming that some companies will come out with cases that support the extra battery soon...the thing is that most still dont have the case out for just the X50 yet....so just be patient and they will come out with some....

FYI.

After confirming today that DELL UK are shipping my X50v I was checking out the Sena case, and it appears to me that they have changed the headphone cut out design. If I remember correctly the old design had a small circular cut out which meant you had to unplug the headphones to open and close the case (or is my memory failing me??)

The new pictures show a complete slot cut out of the top to enable the headphones to remain plugged in. Certainly makes more sense this way and good to see they have responded to feedback from (potential) customers .

Cheers.

Just bought the X50Mid with the Rhino Skin case. Wondered what was the largest battery that I could get and still use the Rhino case. The standard battery I am getting is the 1100 mAH. But know that it will not last long with the wifi or with watching the DVD movies I have converted. Thanks

the dell extended battery is definently too big, some companies though like mugen batteries are planning to make a battery with the same dimensions as the standard but with all little bit bigger capacity. Make sure you dont just get the extended though, since i am sure one of their extended ones will be big like dells...just make sure that it says same size as standard battery, then it works

You know, I don't think I like any of the cases out there. I don't want leather and I don't want aluminum. Do I have any other choices????

Thanks

Does any of these cases allow to put the X50v on the craddle without removing the protection?

I currently have an old ipaq 38xx with the very practical protection they had, allowing to leave it all times.
I just find it not very practical to remove the case once or twice a day to connect.

thanks!

I believe the Sena case will allow you to Synch while still in the case.

The RhinoSkin opens like a book. However, the Axim is on the left side.

>DSI Metal Case PRE-ORDER

I e-mailed and they told me:

I asked the factory, as we do not yet have these in stock. They tell me there is a hole for the reset button. We should be getting them in in the next couple of weeks.

Sounds like they were smarter than Rhinoskin on the reset button thing... $29 with free shipping at the moment...

<Doug wonders if it is worth $9 for a hole in the back...>
