2GB SD card compatible with X50v?

I am trying to get a 2gb SD card for my X50v, but heard someone said it may not be compatible. I have a 4gb microdrive, and the X50v has no problem with it and recognize the full 4gb storage. Anybody know if this is the same for SD?

There has been great debate/discussion regarding this rumor. Compactflash and microdrives are not recognized in the same way as SD so there is no guarantee that a 2gb SD card will work.

The general consensus is that if the 2GB SD card doesnt work in the x30 and x50 its due to an OS issue and not device. We will have to wait and see and hope that we dont have to wait further for an OS upgrade to make things work...

looks like the only way to find out is to go and buy one from the store and try it... unfortunately, I don't think the 2gb SD are available yet in retail.

Yup, they were just sent out to OEM manufacturers.
