If you have a Swiss Army knife, the plastic toothpick is perfect to slip under the edge without scratching the screen. Lacking that, try to use a piece of clear tape. Tape it to one corner of the protector, then lift carefully until you can grasp the edge of the protector and pull it away gently.

I CAN find a swiss army knife... I shouldn't use the point, right? Use it horizontally, so to speak(err... write)?

Any other advice would be appreciated!!

Use the plastic toothpick thingy, hold the point very flat and slip it under the edge of the protector until you can get a fingernail under it. DON'T use the knife blade or anything metal--you'll scratch the screen. The plastic toothpick is soft enough and flat enough to get under the protector without scratching the screen.

The tape trick is actually safer.

I haven't tried it yet but you can use packing tape to lift the screen protector off, instead of the toothpick. Stick the tape on the bottom or top edge of the screen and pull the tape. The screen protector should come off with the tape since the adhesive on the protector is not as strong as the tape.

Funny enough, I used this thin aluminum New Era logo clip found on their baseball caps. Pulled up the thing no problem....

Also, re-applied it in a steam filled bathroom... and WOW! Damn thing looks near perfect! I'm one happy camper...

I just use scotch tape. Being x-mas time, you shouldn't have any troubles finding some around right now. make sure you line it up with the edge of the screen, and push it into the corner with your fingernail. Instead of just lifting straight up, give it some outward pressure while pulling it up. This is the method I use when installing mine, I just put a piece of scotch tape on each corner to help with pulling it back up to get the best possible alignment.

I use tape like routermike. Geez, a toothpick? That's just asking for scratches.

The writeshields come with these soft plastic toothpicks. The instructions tell you to put tape on the corner and gently lift then put the plastic tootpick under the corner. I wanted to get rid of the 2 little pieces of lint that got stuck under and tried it their way and it worked perfectly. but the tape is definately the key to this.

Steam filled bathroom will make all the dust heavy. It will reduce the amount that is circulating in the air, thus almost eliminating dust under the screen protector. Writesheilds come with a removal tool, cleaning solution and cleaning cloth.

Exactly. Plus, if you have a can of compressed air, you can def. ensure there is no dust on your PPC...

It's seriously Hell getting a Boxwave off unless you have a tried and true strategy, you'll be at it for a while. I found that using a NYC MetroCard works perfectly! It's more pliable than a credit card yet still stiff enough to pull up a corner. If you have a thin calling card, it should work.
