Anyone using Dell screen protectors?

I ordered the DELL screen protectors with my x50v, now I am hearing that they suck. I have not put them on yet...can someone tell me why they are so bad? Should I not put them on? I don't mind paying more to get a better one.

Has your order shipped yet? If not I'd probably call and have them taken off of your order. When I ordered my X50v (about 2 weeks ago) Dell didn't have them in stock and I was told it could delay shipment by up to 4 weeks. I heard that the Dell screen protectors are pretty bad, so I ordered a set from Boxwave which arrived after a couple of days. Check around on this site - there are 10% discount codes available. If you already got your screen protectors from Dell you might as well keep them - the twelve dollars or so you paid for them probably isn't worth sending them back.

To be fair, I have only had the Dell protectors for my X5. It was my first PPC and I didn't know any better. They were horrible! I don't know if they have improved since then but I just can't bring myself to purchase any more of them.

terrible.. unless my stylus is made out of sandpaper, there's a problem with these.

I think they are the Fellowes (I think they still are the company thats makes them) Writerights I used the ones back in the day for my Palm V for years. Still have it even. Yes they work BUT they are quite soft and there is a reason you get 12 in a package. Since you have it just use them for now its not going to damage the screen. But if you don't like the look or feel of them order something better and just change once you get something them.
