Dell Bluetooth Keyboard - Can't connect
Just got the Dell Buletooth keyboard ( Model No: XTBT01 ) for my Axim X50v. I installed the driver and reset device as instructed. On the configure screen I tap Enable, then tap Bluetooth wireless keyboard option, tap "setup" The Bluetooth keyboard status reads " Bluetooth system not detected" It should say "initializing Bluetooth support, please wait" I get this message if BT is turned on, on my device and keyboard or both are off. Anyone have any ideas? I really don't want to go thru the hassle of calling Dell for support. I don't want to be on hold thru the Holidays if you know what I mean.

MW,
I had the same problem with the driver software loaded into the SD card. Removed and re-installed to main memory and it now works.

I think Dell just came out with this keyboard. I didn't see it when I got my Axim back in October. The keyboard is nice. It really comes in handy. I think it could do a better job of holding the Axim. Sometimes I need to use the stylus to tap on the screen and that can cause it to move/fall. I have the Belkin OmniDock-L PDA cup holder mount. If you flip the base you can use is as a table top mount. This is really cool and I don't have to worry about my Axim falling. It also holds the PDA at eye level

I've been having the same problem with my k/b not connecting via bluetooth. I have the dell executive keyboard. I'll try and put the driver on the main memory instead. Such a pain But nice to know I'm not the only one, cuz I really really really don't want to call tech support on xmas eve...

only problem i've seen with the keyboard is on certain surfaces the right side shifts forward and I keep having to move it back. Wondering if there's some type of pad to use beneath the keyboard to keep it from working (paper works fine but i'd like something a bit fancier).
