Boxwave Protector's Touch Friendly?

Hey guys. I looked at this forum (and other sites) and found an overwhelming positive response about Boxwave Screen Protectors. So, I've decided to get one.

But now comes the choice between anti-glare or this new "crystal" one they have out. According to the review, both are great, but I have one question that no one seems to touch on (no pun intended).

A friend of mine had the boxwave screen protector, and was able to touch and move his finger around his screen without and problems (no fingerprints, scratches, or anything). Can the crystals do this too? I know touching the screen is never a good idea, but I would only use it sparingly, like for the "all-purpose remote" and thihngs like that.

Touching the Crystal leaves fingerprints.

I can confirm that on the regular [anti-glare] screen protector touching the screen produces no fingerprints. I was really amazed by this coming from a cheap Belkin screen protector! :)

Forkyfork,

The ClearTouch Crystal with its 99% visual transparency and glass-like clarity provides an absolutely clear screen protection. The ClearTouch Anti-Glare on the other hand is better known for its ability to remain fingerprint-free.

Both the ClearTouch Crystal and Anti-Glare provide similar protection from scratches. But if you are looking for more of a fingerprint-free surface, the ClearTouch Anti-Glare is your best option. :)

More information about these products can be found here:

ClearTouch Anti-Glare

If you have further questions, please feel free to PM me. :)

Cheers,
Sung

I've clear touch crystal installed about a month ago. I'm surprised by its clarity. It's so clear even I can't see any screen protector on the Axim when it is turned on. :)
However, after turning it off one can see only at the very edge a rim of the screen protector not touching the original screen. I think, in a way, this is good; because with this feture (intentional or unintentional)one can easily remove the screen protector and reinstall a new one.

Not intentional, but yeah, it can come in handy if you want to remove the screen protector ;)

I have the Boxwave Crystal protector, and it's brilliant! I was going to get the anti-glare one, but saw no difference, except the fact that the Crystal was "like glass". The screen protector is a bloody good investment! :approve:

The crystal is the way to go if you
don't want it to look like you have a
screen saver on your Axim.

Ottomatic,

The ClearTouch Anti-Glare is clear, but has a very slight haze due to its matte finish for optimum fingerprint-free and anti-glare qualities. Although this has no visual effect on the screen, it is not absolutely glass-like clear like the ClearTouch Crystal. :)

Both the ClearTouch Anti-Glare and Crystal are available in a single pack or a special 3-pack bundle.
