Now I have a question I can't seem to find the answer to...
I want a bluetooth headset able to use for my bluetooth compatible cell phone (sony ericsson T616) but i want this headset to also work with my dell axim x50 (mainly to listen to music, stero or mono, no preference).
Is there any product like this out there? Will the ones sold at the cingular store be the product I am looking for? Is there any such product or am i just searching for an item which does not exist yet to date?
A BT headset that works with both a BT cell phone and your X50 certainly exists; in fact most BT headsets should work. I personally use the Bluetrek G2. I remember reading about others using the Motorola 810. Since you already have a SE phone, do a search for the SE one to see what others have to say. :)
I use the jabra 258 with my x50v , n-gage and laptop. it will only work with one at a time and the axim and laptop for audio gateway.
you need to make sure it supports what your phone has headset or handsfree profile , though most of the new headsets seem to support both , same with the phones.
Blue tooth is a standard technology that makes devices communicate with one another. The BT headset of your cell phone will certainly work with your PDA.
What I am not sure (and maybe others may clarify) is that while I am listening to my music from the x50v, if I get a call on my BT cell, will I be able to hear the ring in the headphone as well and how easy will it be to switch from listening to music to answering the call using the BT headset?

Hello all... I am new to the forums... been browsing since Christmas (Thats when I got my Axim!)
I have attempted to pair my x50 with several different BT headsets, (Motorola HS810, 820, 800, Nokia HDW-3)
All of them sucessfully complete the pairing process, meaning that I enter the password (0,0,0,0) which is accepted and an icon is created in the connections area.
BUT; when I attempt to initiate a connection to the headset from the axim, it says that the device fails to connect.
