The 2200mAh battery is quite bulky and will not fit in most cases when installed onto the x50(v). Are there any cases that will allow such size and will still protect the Axim to the fullest? I love my rhinoskin, but I want more power for my system.

Does anyone know if there is a ahrd case like the rhinoskin available that will allow the x50<v> and the 2200mAh battery inside? I really want the superior protection while allowing the extended battery to be used at the same time. It is not really alot of extra bulk, but it is enough that my rhinoskin will not fit it.

I'm using my old HP2200 Case and works great with slim or large battery and has 1sd and 1 cf slot:

I'm looking at EB Flipper Case w/clip.
"Fits machines no larger than: 5.1x3.3x0.8 in (13x8.4x2.0 cm)"

I like a case that is enclosed to keep out any environmental crud. Removing the X50 from the case to use it isn't a problem since I have a lanyard attached to prevent drops.

This really works. I got this one from my old HP 2210, but never thought to even try the Axim in it. Great news. Gotta try it when I get home. Thanks for the info.

i just bought a Ballistic Nylon camera case (RTech, Kenneth Cole, reactiononline.com, model#552375) and my x50v fits inside my slip case which then fits inside the camera case... the only time i need my 2200 is while travelling, so protection was my main concern, and this feels very safe
