Getting the most out of 1100 battery...

My 1100 battery only lasts about 3 hours in my x50 mid...i was going to buy the extended battery, until i realized that it is HUGE and will not fit in my rhinoskin case...

is this battery life normal? i think it's because of the programs that i run...

also, are there any cheaper ways to make my battery last longer, without buying the extended battery?

3 hours is normal.... depending on the features you are using. Best way to get more battery life without a battery is to enable power saving under your system settings, turn off Bluetooth when you are not using it, turn brightness down and etc. I just got an extra 1100mAh battery. I use my Axim pretty rigorously every day for business purposes and I usually get away with >50% of my 1100mAh battery at the end of the day. Since the batteries are hot-swappable, if I ever ran out I could just pop my secondary 1100 in there. In my opinion, there is no realistic scenario where I would use more than two 1100mAh batteries without some kind of access to a charger. Maybe if you flew a lot, especially internationally, but then I would just get an airplane charging adapter and/or a usb charging cable...

I guess you've already looked at the "Processor" setting on the "System" tab under "Settings" and turned your brightness down when not needed?
