Screen protectors??!!!?!?
I know this subject may have come up a few time on the x50 boards, but i still can't find a good screen protector for my Axim X50 Mid . Can someone show me where to get a WASHABLE screen protector that fits the x50? I appreciate the help!

I have used Brando screen protectors and like them very much. I have had the same one on my screen for months.

They now have them for the X50 line as well. You can get them here.

Absolutely the best screen protectors (no glue or gunk)
It took me forever to find 'em, but these are the best - and no, I don't work for the company! Have one on my x50 that's great.
www.nushield.com
They are a little pricey, ($12 for a year's worth) but with no glue residue to ruin your prized posession, more than worth it.

Used one on a former Palm unit (gasp!) for a whole year before replacing, so the 1 year supply would have been 3 years worth. now where did I put those other two!

They have sizes for many PDA's including the x50 line (I now have an x50v)

Good Luck!

boxwave crystal ALL the way. I bought some cheapo ebay ones when I first got my x50v, then I got my boxwave yesterday... and I'm SUPER impressed. it's like it's not even there.

I agree, give the Boxwave a try. I've also heard Brando and Writeshield are good. I would personally stay away from the NuShield and the Dell ones.

I've had good luck with the Brando's for years (and only for that reason have not tried another brand). I have the Ultra Clear on my x50v. Installed in only a couple of minutes with no problems.

How about scratch proof screen protectors? I know this is impossible but which brand doesn't scratch easily?

Brando, Writeshield, and Boxwave all are reported to be very scratch resistant. I used brando for my X3i and have ordered one for my X50v(if it ever gets here!). From experience I can say that it will probably last me until for as long as I use the Axim (at least a year or two).

I just ordered Dell's "Axim screen protector 12-Pack". Are these decent?

You will be very UNHAPPY with this purchase. I had them and threw them out after a few weeks..

I now have brando and have used boxwave on myX30h. I love the brando...

These are the perfect screen protectors to order at the same time as your axim if you haven't already ordered other screen protection. Since trhey will arrive with your Ax, they will protect you screen from new for just long enough for your *real* screen protector to arrive after you have waded through all the forums and ordered it.

I've been using the Dell ones for a few weeks - just ordered brando ..

Yeah, that's what I did but they scratch easily that's why I am out already. 12 screen protectors lasted me 2 months hehehe. Now to order some real good ones! Still deciding on what to get.....
