What CF accessories do you use?
Hi,

I keep seeing advice to buy an SD memory card to leave the CF slot on the x50V open for accessories. However, I am having trouble understand what sort of CF based accessories I would use. What accessories are other people using in the CF slot of a x50v?

GPS, camera, barcode reader, modem, future wifi standards, etc.

If you are wanting to use both slots there is nothing wrong with getting another card to fill that second slot.

The question was more to do with whether I should get CF memory or SD memory. CF memory is a bit cheaper.

Why not both?

If you can afford it, I would recomend the SD card. Not only for the reason of leaving your CF open for possible acessories, but also because it is more likely a future PPC will have an SD slot over a CF and this will ensure you have a memory card.
