$10 X50 AC power supply (some assembly required)
So I have the X50, a cradle, the USB cable, and the little power connector. All three of these have a place for the A/C adapter to plug into, but only 1 A/C adapter was included in my order.

So I needed 2 more A/C adapters.

So I checked the specs on the the supplied adapter: 5.4V, 2.41 Amp max.

So after a visit to All Electronics I found these: 5.1V, 2.5A max. $6.50 each - perfect.

You have to replace the connector on the end. You need a 4x1.7mm dc barrel connector. You can find these at radio shack. $2.59 for 2.

10 minutes burning my fingers with the soldering iron, and voila!

So for about $10 each (After shipping and taxes), I have 2 more power supplies, and all of my available charging stations are ready to go.

Of course, as I go to Dell's site, they now carry the power supplies .. oh well . Too late! I already have mine now.

Does anyone know if the X50v uses the same power supply as the Ipaqs and Toshibas? I already have several of these power supplies. They are rate at either 5v at 1Amp or 5V at 2 Amps.
