Bellagio or Sena?
This is my first post, and I'm already asking for help. I'm fairly certain that my new X50v will be housed by either the Bellagio or the Sena case. I have seen many posts regarding the Sena, but I have not been able to find much information regarding the Bellagio. Has anyone compared these two cases? I previously had a Piel Frama for my X30h. While I loved the case, I think I'd prefer to sync and dock with the case still on. Any suggestions? Thanks to all the great members of this site. This is my number one resource for everything related to my Axim.

I just got the Bellagio Flip style case this week from aximcases.com.
I think it is a great case, it has good craftsmanship, quality leather, and it fits the unit like a glove. It also allows you to put it in the cradle without removing the cover.

Aximcases.com handled my order very well. I ordered it Monday, received it on Wednesday with their standard shipping.

Also, there is a coupon code good for 15% off for aximsite members.

If you look at "My PDA", you can see pistures of it.

I have the Sena case and would say all the same good things about it as Albaris said about the Bellagio Flip. I pre-ordered it so got a little bit of a price break. Again, I am will pleased with mine.

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to go with the Bellagio -- partly because of the snap closure, and partly because of the color choices available. I will update everyone with pictures, and hopefully a review. Thank you,

Dan

I have the Bellagio flip for the X5 and nothing is covered up by the case. It has retained its appearance and shows little wear after about two years of use. The very best thing is that you don't have to take it out of the case to put it in the cradle - why choose an alternative where you are constantly taking it in and out of the case? Seems like a recipe for disaster.

I bought the Sena, and I like it a lot. Compared to the pics of the Belagio case the Sena is more professional looking - rounded cutouts for buttons, not just empty space.

Of course, YMMV

Just got the Sena Case
Very nice, indeed. Craftsmanship is outstanding; everything aligns perfectly. Fits nice and tight. I used to have a Vaja Case for my 2215 and this is a superior design because of . . .

1) It syncs in the case! This -- for me -- is a huge plus. I don't know if other X50 cases do this, but it makes things much more convenient.

2) I love the magnetic clasp. Very well thought out. Just "sticky" enought to keep the unit protected.

3) It actually makes the two buttons on the side less likely to be accidentally pressed. I'm sure most leather cases will have this effect, though.

Anyone tried the Sena case with the Seidio car mount? I read a previous post that Seidio said that it wouldn't work, but it was unclear if anyone really tried it?
