Hi cisco.kid. I just got my iPaQ 4700 back from it's upgrade yesterday. It sent it on on Monday and got it back on Friday. I can't even tell the device has been opened. There's some before and after pics of the memory manager in my View MyPDA. I don't know how much longer you have on your Axim warranty, but I took the risk with my 4700. After three months I felt there were no out of the box problems and went ahead and sent it for it's upgrade. They provide a 90 day warranty on their work and the motherboard, enough to again find any problems with the upgrade. Pocket PC Techs is first rate in every aspect of their transaction. If you decide to do it, you won't be dissatisifed with their service or quality. I am still getting my iPAQ set back up the way I like (I decided to reinstall all my apps rather than restore just to get a clean slate, and to move some of them to main memory from file store/SD), but I can tell you already I am very happy. While all the Today Screen apps aren't all that much faster, they all play together much nicer with the extra room. Also, some big apps I use like PlanMaker are now a joy to use. Let us know what you decide. If you are a member of another forum (PM me and I will tell you which one) you can get a 10% discount. I was hoping Chris would try to get one set up for Aximsite and IPAQHQ members (I haven't sent a formal request yet though).
