Well... it took me 5 times... but at last the screen protector is aligned properly.
I must say... WOW! It's well clear, and it feels nice and smooth... however, it is a real pain in the butt to install.
And at least 2 small hairs get stuck underneath every time!!! AAARRGH!
Now I have a question.
I got rid of the air bubbles nicely, but on the corners there is something that looks like AIR, which comes back after 10 secs no matter how many times or how I press it out...
...is that pretty standard or am I doing something wrong???

The Boxwave was also my biggest nightmare....lots of lint or hair when installed...it looks to me like the the lint was there when I received them but my patience ran out and just threw them somewhere in a box....got the HP screen protector for the HP 4700 and cut them to size and bingo....no bubbles and nice clear display.

wash them and apply scotch tape to the sticky side overlapping each piece. clean the screen and go into the bathroom after a nice steamy shower. wipe off the screen once more and gently blow off any leftover lint. then start removing the layered tape as you put it on the screen. you should now have a great protector with no lint or hair and nice and clear. these things attract hair and lint like a magnet. if you took off the backing and moved it through the air in a normal dry atmosphere it will suck up so much junk you will think it came that way.
I think it gets easier with time and practice. When I got my Axim x5, I ordered the Write Shields (similar to Boxwave) and it took me almost an hour and ALL 3 protectors to finally get ONE on right. I've gone through two more PPCs, with screen protectors for each and it just gets easier. With the bathroom trick, it only took about seven to ten minutes to get the Boxwave on my Axim x50v.

You can clean your your protector by putting an adhesive tape like Scotch(tm) on it. All the dust will adhere on that tape,
leavin a clean surface.
If only little dust is to remove, partially raise the protector
on the edge, put the adhesive tape under it an remove the tape again.

Yeah... I think that's what I'll do!

LOL, maybe your residence is a bit too dusty, put in a new air filter in your ac intake. The airgap at a corner or two is due to your fingers contacting the sticky side, and thus the skin oils transfer.
I used a plastic razor to align mine and did it on the first try, just place the blade where the screen/bottom junction is and it guides the horizontal position then all you need to do is roll the screen saver down a 1/4 inch and align the vertical side(s), don't even need to touch the "sticky" side of the piece.
The edges on mine are not as stuck to, as the center part. Dont bother me all that much though. I just wonder how I am going to remove this, to replace the screen cover in 6 months

WOW! I must say that seems like alot of trouble just to put into a screen protector. I have a lot of respect for your dedication but after reading your post I am going to stick to my Dell screen protectors. They might not be the best but I have never had an ounce of trouble with them.

You know how when someone lays with their back to you and you lay behind 'em really close and you throw one arm over 'em?
it's called "spooning".
yea, but you gotta put the other arm somewhere. you can either lay on it or shove it in between your bodies; the only other option is to stretch it above your head. but sometimes my arm pops out of socket when I'm sleeping like that. so I was constantly searching for some place to keep my arm, while still laying close to her.
and?
what do you mean 'and'?! that's like a metaphor for a whole relationship.
