I currently own the Rhinoskin hardcase for my Axim x50v, and I love it. I considered buying the extended battery when I purchased my Axim, but decided to buy more chargers instead (one at home, one at work, and one in each vehicle). I figured there would never be a need for an extended battery since I would be able to plug in wherever I go. However (and maybe this is just because I'm a PPC newbie), I still constantly worry about how much charge is left on the battery when I'm not plugged in. It's never dropped below half charge, and I back up every couple days or so, but I'm wondering if $100 would be worth the added piece of mind. At this point, the only thing keeping me from making the leap is the availability of a good quality hardcase that will be compatible with the extended battery. My question is this... has anyone out there compared a PDair hardcase side by side with a Rhinoskin hardcase? I am very impressed with the quality of the Rhinoskin case, and wouldn't have thought twice to buy another one if they were to make one compatible with an extended battery. However, after reading a few threads, it looks like the PDair will be the only option available. From the pictures I've seen of the PDair, I prefer the style of the Rhinoskin, but if the PDair were of comparable quality, I would probably be able to overlook that. Any thoughts about the PDair case?
Wow, my first post here, and boy did I ramble on.
