Difference in accesories for X50V & X50 ?
Is there a difference between the X50V & X50 accessory wise? i.e. travel charger etc.

Also based in the UK all 3rd party accessories seem to come from the US which makes the X50V more expensive. Does anyone have a good source for UK or Europe accessories.

I'm desperate to get my hands on an X50V at Dell just now for £289 but my head is telling me the add on costs (accessories etc) for the unit are just too high and I should really look at another PDA.

Steven.

The only accessories that won't go to both are screen protectors. The X50v screen is slightly larger than the X50 screen.

yup, the only difference is the 3.7" screen on the v instead of the 3.5" on the regular one

Might be a good idea to order your X50, plain vanilla, then order accessories seperate and/or look for 3rd party vendors for some of them.

Bundling everything into one order can delay your receiving your Axim because of one accessory being out of stock.

Very true, dell has been known to hold back an order for weeks just to wait for a car charger or memory card or something come in

Hi MrKlaatu. That was the point of my post. I am "hopefully" ordering a plain x50v without any accessories. I just wanted to know if anyone had a good 3rd party supplier of accessories in the UK / europe. Plus were the accesories standard with the X50 & X50V.

I take it it is just the screen size that is different then and not the actual unit size?

Thanks again.

Steven.

The difference between the x50mid and the X50V is only £31 so I'd be as well just going for it. Unless what you get for the difference between the X50 & V models isn't worth that. But I would imagine it would be.

Screen size is one difference, processor speed is another and VGA. For only a few bucks more you are gettng a top of the line Dell Axim 50.
