Boxwave Bashing Round 25
I am really beginning to wonder if I should cancel my order with Boxwave after seeing so many people having problems with their screen protectors.

I ordered the Clear protectors on Jan 9th and still have not received them as of today, Jan 21st. I did receive two emails from Boxwave, both stating my order was shipped. Ironically, on Jan 10th I received one email stating it was sent, then on Jan 12th another email stating it was just shipped. 3-5 days shipping to Louisiana should not take this long.

What really chaps my ass is that Boxwave does not provide a phone number for you to call them at your convenience. Instead, they want the customer to email them and Boxwave will contact you when it is convenient for them.
What happened to customer service?

Before anyone tells me to email them; I already have and the response is about as useful as two emails stating your package has been delivered on two different dates. Interesting thought, perhaps they cut the package in half and mailed it on two different days!!! (Not possible considering I ordered a single product)

Oh well, maybe you folks can tell me which other companies offer very clear screen protectors since Boxwave and I just can't seem to get things straight.

From the looks of it, there is almost a 50-50 split of those in favor versus those that are dissatisfied with their Boxwave screen protectors. I admit most problems are with installing the protector, but I am seeing plenty people indicate theirs does not fit their Axim properly and they have larger than normal gaps. Is this the result of Boxwave rushing production to meet the increased demand? Perhaps QA/QC is on vacation when $$$'s are at the door...just a thought

Please provide names of other quality clear screen protectors for the x50v. I will need them for mine and for the 4 Axims at work.

Thanks for your time and letting me get that off my chest!!!

Same here, I had ordered mine on the 11th Jan and got 2 confirmation emails, stating that the package was shipped on 11th on the 1st email and 12th on the 2nd email respectively. How could that be?? Until now I had yet to receive the package from them. Got an email from them that for international orders, it could took up to 3-4 weeks (OMG!)

I ordered on Jan. 12th and received my Clear Touch Crystal on Jan 18th. Maybe it's a USPS shipping issue? Did you check your order status on their website for your tracking #?

In terms of order, mine was incredibly fast, it was shipping overseas and took about less than a week (to UK).

I do have an issue with the edges not sticking properly, but we are dealing with it right now and SO FAR customer support has been very understanding and accomodating.

I did track the order and below is all it says:

Current Status

You entered XXXXXXXXXXXX

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on January 10, 2005 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later

I notified Boxwave by email yesterday (Friday, 21st) (since they do not want customers calling them at the customer's convenience) and have not heard from them since.

I just want to get the damn thing so I can feel safe using the x50v I received on January 10th but have not used yet other than charging it!!!

Imagine that....so much for Dell's problems.
I order my Axim on Jan 5th, it was sent on the 6th, I received it on the 10th (which was a Monday) although it arrived in my town (New Orleans) on Friday evening. So, if it was not for it being the weekend, I would have received my Axim from Dell in 3 days using standard shipping which was free at the time.

Go figure!!!

I ordered a 3 pack of Crystals on 12/31. Shipped notice received on 1/5. USPS attempted delivery 1/7. I had to go to post office to get the package as a Signiture was required to get delivery.

I consider this to be more than acceptable delivery timeline.

As a point of reference I ordered a cupholder mount from Akron on the same date and it took an additional week be delivered and I had no shiping update from Akron when it actually went out the door. I received both an order confirmation and a delivery notice from Boxwave (both of which appeared to be accurate). I did not get a chance to check the tracking number as the package arrived before I even had a chance to check.

And oh yeah - the protector is so good (and clear) that you hardly even notice it is in place.
