I have tried 2 different car chargers with my X50v and have the same problem with both, they do not seem to be able to charge the X50V and power it at the same time, the screen light flickers and the power light goes on and off, a lot of good with Tomtom. Any body else experienced this?

Does anybody know of any makes of car charger that can charge and operate at the same time?

I found this one: http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/1345/CH-PD-UNCH04 but have not tried it myself. output is high enough to charge and use at same time.

I use the car charger from Seidio for my Dell X50. It works. It can power and charge it at the same time. I guess they know how to do it since their Car mount for DEll X50 works also.

I just received the one from Dell. Doesn't it power & charge at the same time? I haven't tried it yet.
