Has anyone bought the extended (2200mAh) battery for the X50v yet and how is it?

1. how many hours are you getting now
2. how far does it stick out/weight increase

I am wondering if it is worth it, or should I just buy another 1100mAh as a backup,

depends on your usage, it can vary.

I've used it extensively on mp3s (using 208Mhz Power Save Mode) with the free version of Pocket Minds Pocket Music, and it lasted at least 7+ hours

With WiFi on all the time, I get 3.75 hours. With WiFi off I get anywhere from 6.5 - 7.5 hours depending upon how I use it. It sticks out about 1/4 inch from the back, so you won't be able to use any 'form fitting' cases (yet).

That's my only problem with the thing. I'm used to having a flipcase. I'm partial to Sena but any case would do at this point. None available yet though.

Thanks for the pics, kinda makes it look pregnant in one of the pics. I think I'll just get another 1100mAh battery as a back up, instead of going for the humback.

I also use flipcase(Covertec)and don't wanna get rid of it. I guess I was hoping for the kind of extended battery on my iPAQ 6315, it is more elongated and covers almost entireback-side.
