Just bought a Car mount from Gomadic and would highly recommend them - No problems , very fast service (arrived in aprrox 4/5 days after payment!)


have seen a few UK owners loking for Mounts and cradles etc - i say Visit the above site - $27 including delivery (about £16)

cheapest i found in UK was expansys for £35 - ($60 ish)

Check out there stuff - i think they offer some all singing and dancing warranty too...

I bought the Dashboard mount , rather than the screen mount, with a universal PDA holder , works well - the mount comes on a pretty rugged Rubber foot with adhesive underneath - as long as the surface you are sticking it too (i.e the dash) is flat and clean it should adhere nicely.

If , like me, you have a company car without a flat dash - the 'stickyness' is not enough to hold all the weight - so i modified it a little and screwed it to the dash. gotta love company vehicles. But if your dash is flat i think it would be fine


I only dodged the screen suckers because some people on this site have complained that it falls off at random moments... it may be extreme - but i like my screws

I started this thread due to the great service they provided and at a good price, if you see somthing you like on their site , have no fear.
