Battery Extender help?
I was wondering wich extender would be best for trips and watching movies from (for axim x50v)?

This looks like it can connect to the x50v and charge the battery while you watch the movie.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...6183 240&rd=1

While something like this seems to only charge if the power is off on the x50v via USB?

http://www.semsons.com/pocpowban.html

Im very confused. The Semsons one looks great! But im not sure if it worth it to get if I will run out of power while watching a movie in the x50v. Does the semsons actually act as an external battery or just a charger for the x50v while it is off?

Thanks very much!!

(Edit There is also this model

)

Also read the sticky thread at the top of this forum for more information on the power demands on the X50 series.

I emailed semsons.com and they confirmed the output current at 1 amp. This should be plenty to charge while the x50v is on. Ordered one today and will report my experience next week.
