What you've never wanted to check your e-mail while scuba diving?!?
yea iw as thinking scuba diving then i looked again tis got like a velcrow strap to starp it to yourhand while using a glove i think it was ment more for snow that would be cool but bulky....
Looks cool to me. It's a lot cheaper and more versatile than getting one of those clunky "ruggedized" pdas.

I like the ruggedness, durability, (and of course the hand strap idea) but the bulk is actually a drawback. I kinda feel like they added more size simply for aesthetics rather than functionality.
My axim is about the most beautiful thing I know, so adding an inch or more thickness around it makes it LESS usable and desirable for me.
I just got their newest one, the 1900, it is slimmer and made for smaller pdas like the x50v (it wont fit the x5) and it isnt that bad. A little big, but great protection...that some people could need
The 1900 does have a gore tex vent though, so no scuba diving
I would be much to afraid to take it in the water. Imagine putting it in the case, THINKING it's secure, putting it in the water, and then finding out it's not.
I can understand the need for a waterproof camera.. but not a waterproof PDA. I mean.. c'mon!

I find it very relaxing reading e-books and doing other activities while im in the bath with my PDA :0)
I wish I had one - I give my PDA to the kids on a regular basis with Nemo or Shrek running when in the car - this would be perfect for keeping it safe and my nerves settled
Doesnt allow for easy stylus access. Guess you would have a special one? Nice for carrying it around while backpacking and stuff but almost looks like its unusable.
Cheers
